Free apps for the UNA Watch

FossIsTheWay

Utilities, watch faces and glances for the UNA Watch, made to work the same way, so the second one you install already feels familiar.

Utilities

Apps you open from the watch's launcher.

BreatheA breathing pacer that taps your wrist to breathe in, hold and breathe out, so you can do a whole session with your eyes closed. Four patterns ready to go, or write your own.
Also a glance: Breathe Glance+ glance
LodestoneA compass for your wrist: a steady heading that allows for how you hold your arm, true or magnetic north, and a course to follow if you set one.
Also a glance: Direction+ glance
GPSYour position on a globe, what the watch's GPS is telling you, and a track recorder that saves where you go as a GPX file.
COMING SOONCOMING SOON
WorldClockYour time and one other city's at a glance, with the hours between them and the day when it differs. Step through your own list of cities, in a modern or a retro style.
Also a watch face: Zone Clock+ watch face
EbbA tide watch: the next high and low water, the tide drawn either side of now, sunrise, sunset and the moon. Enter one high water and it works out the rest.
Also a watch face: Tide Clock+ watch face
StargazerWhen tonight is good for stargazing: true darkness, moonrise and moonset, and the dark, moonless window, worked out for where you are.
Also a watch face: Astro Clock+ watch face
ClockStudioThree of my apps in one: Ebb's tides, Stargazer's night sky and WorldClock's time zones, on one launcher entry, with DOWN to move between the faces.

OverheadWhen the ISS and other satellites pass over you: the next pass drawn across a dome of sky with a countdown, for up to ten objects you choose.
AhoyAn anchor alarm and a nap timer for a small boat. Drop the anchor and it buzzes if you drag out of your circle or lose GPS; start a nap and it buzzes when it is up.
SensorViewFor the curious and for developers: what each of the watch's 38 sensors really does, whether it is there, what it reports, how often, and how far it swings.

Watch faces

Chosen under Settings, Watch Face, and set up from the phone. They need firmware 1.5.0.

Glances

In your glances, with nothing to open.

What the apps share

Invert and light

The faces can be turned over for daylight: dark markings on a light ground, laid out exactly as at night. In the utilities the screen can light when you raise your wrist: never, at night, or always.

The info page

Hold UP for four seconds in most of the utilities for a page of what the app is working from: its version, the battery, counts and timings. Useful when something looks wrong.

Settings, live

Every setting is in the phone app's Configure form. Change one there and the app on the watch picks it up while it runs, without restarting anything.

The Config Curator

  • A free web page that walks through every app's settings in plain words and shows exactly what to enter.
  • Pick the app, change only what you want: everything else already has a sensible default.
  • Already set up? Start from the app's own settings file and change it from there.
  • Entirely optional: every app works as it comes, and the curator is there to make things easier.

A few apps use UP their own way, and watch faces and glances have no buttons: each app's description says how it works.
